LOL Yeah, people will put steel brakes on to save their carbon ceramic brakes. If you're gonna do that, why bother with the carbon ceramic in the first place? If you can't afford to replace the carbon ceramics, don't add them as a goddamned option when you buy the car! Manufacturers aren't just sticking them on willy nilly. You have to specifically ask for 'em and pay for 'em.
Yeah, people will spend all they have on the car of their dreams and have no money left to maintain it
I don't think people understand how much it costs to maintain some of these cars. Bugatti cars are absurdly expensive to properly maintain. Like, insane numbers. I doubt most owners properly maintain them.

Moving on to the wheels, Bugatti advises all Veyron owners to change the tires once every couple of years and a fresh new set costs an eye-watering $38,000. As for the wheels themselves, they have to be replaced every 10,000 miles (16,093 kilometers) for a staggering $50,000. Doing the math, we’re looking at around $100,000 in maintenance costs in just a couple of years of ownership.
Yikes! That is outrageously expensive!
