Hey guys, I hope everyone's had a great week.

I had some time off, so I puttered around the home studio. I've got a cool song in 10/4 time I've been working on, but it 's based on a piano part that I'm too retarded to play. So I've been trying different programmable piano software, trying to find a grand piano sound that's truly grand. They haven't progressed much since the early Casio days. I'm still working on that one.

Meanwhile I was feeling like Otis must have felt that day, so I did a sloppy copy of his classic.

Tonight's track is the epitome of laziness. I'll wait and see if other people figure it out. The name of the file may be a good hint.

The wife gave it a quick bit of clipping and some editing, but it's otherwise as recorded. We're just that lazy this week.

This is one we do as a full band, but they do just fine without me. People dig The Chain quite a bit, and even younger people know it.

The first thing that I thought when I saw was The Chain was Chain, Chain, Chain by Aretha Franklin. Of course it's Fleetwood Mac, don't know what I was thinking. Anyway, excellent song. So is Chain, Chain, Chain.

BTW Aretha did a real good version of The Weight with Duane Allmon on guitar.
