Hell yeah! She's a beauty!
And it's a whole lot less than an XJ220! An XJ220 is at least 3.5x more than I paid for this one.
Then again, I pretty much stole this one. It was only 90k plus auction fees, delivery, and tax. Though the taxes are deferred as they're investments. I'm still eventually gonna have to pay the taxes on 'em. Well, someone's gonna have to.
I don't put enough miles on them, so they stay in the investment category.
They actually appreciate at a pretty good rate, some of 'em.
You have enough cars that you don't have to worry about putting too many miles on any of them.
To benefit from the cars appreciating in value you have to sell them, and I really didn't think you bought most of those cars to sell!
Oh, no... I don't plan on selling the overwhelming majority.
I also don't plan on selling the overwhelming majority of my other assets, like stocks and bonds.
The cars appreciate faster and more than some of the index funds, bonds, or stocks - even against stocks that pay dividends.
They're a 'store of value', meaning they hold or increase in value. I have no plans to sell most of 'em, but they're just like any other investment to me in those regards.
