We've been a bit busy this week, and took no time to prepare anything new. We didn't even cut something out of a live recording.
So, we dug out something that hasn't been shared enough. As near as I can tell, it hasn't even been shared since I started using my own domain and hosting for the tracks.
That one seemed like a good candidate to be trotted out again.
Rock on, Poalr Bears! Rock on!
As a listener Gilmour, just like SRV, has such unique technique and mastery of tone that he is hard to replicate faithfully, but somehow you capture the essence of his playing. Quite an accomplishment. Biff and J also bring their sound together so well, it is a treat to hear you all do these tracks. Thanks!
His style is pretty unique. The "Gilmour bend" is one of them and is named after him.
Glad ya liked it. We hadn't shared it in a while, perhaps sharing it only once. I didn't look it up, I just noticed that it wasn't already uploaded to my sharing site.
When I do the archive, I'll be sure your new site link is updated on all entries to make sure it'll be available.
Holy cow you guys did like a hard rock muzak thing. I believe you're onto something. Make some rock and roll muzak for supermarkets and drug stores. I guess dealing with the hooknosed assholes that own all the songs might get in your way.
Fuck! I miss muzak in stores. They don't play nothing anymore in shopping centers or fast food joints.
We pipe in muzak for the Subway I partially own. There's none in Dunkin' but that's because there's always a TV on. There's still music in my local grocery stores, so there's that.
This track has been shared before, just not in a while and only once before.
We dont need no hallucinations! We don't need no mushroom grows! Hey! Preachers! Leave those souls alone!
Sublime rendition!
Loved it!
Glad ya liked it. It's a pretty good song.
It's a great song!
Awesome guitar work!
Thanks! Glad ya liked it. We did this song quite a while ago and only shared it once. So, it's from the archives but pretty rare. We shared it once, in January of 2021.
