We are, for the most part, pretty tame - and welcoming. We may seem insular, but we're really not. We just don't tolerate bullshit and it's really hard to bullshit a fellow musician.

Example: Someone (here) once made silly claims that I don't actually play guitar. A real musician will listen to my shared tracks and notice the mistakes. Mistakes, I make them. I'm a musician 'cause I hide them well by playing through them.

So, we don't take much bullshit.

If Voat's down, I'd like to invite 'em here to hang for the duration. I can't promise they'll behave. They will bring good music, however!

Yeah, probably won't - but we sometimes get really active. As in, we're usually the most popular threads for the day/week/month on Voat statistics. I'm pretty sure we also eat up some serious bandwidth - but at least the tracks are hosted elsewhere.

At this point I'm not sure if Putt just doesn't care, or if he's one of those guys who ignores his plants for weeks at a time then wonders why they're dying.

Burnt out, so he said. I can't blame him. I'd expect him to eventually notice. My guess is it's a DB issue this time. (My guess last time was exactly correct.) I suspect the DB drive is full or the server is disconnected.

I've seen a very few here, that are identifiable by name, already but wonder if the others have signed up. You seem to have some contact outside voat (or on the gq site) with them so maybe encourage them also.

Is voat working for you? It's unusable for me. Keep getting "exception was encountered" or some shit, and Can't post, reply, comment, or up/down boat.

Have cleared cookies and cache. I can't even post a help thread to let anyone know. In the following thread is same error I'm getting.

It's the same for me. Just going to play the next few days by ear with them​. Unfortunately I have a lot of friends there (yourself included) but most of them I can contact in some way or another.

I don't want Voat to go down, but it does seem Putt is just done and wants to be free of the burden.

I would have to say classic rock, but I do like a variety of music genres. I never joined Voat, (just lurked). I visited your thread several times recently and enjoyed the music and conversation. I hope you can get something going here, that would be nice.
