That's fucking insane. I drove an F3 car that had ~2.0 G LA. That was insane. Once you were going fast enough, the aero would kick in and you could take corners at insane speeds. I can't even imagine 8G. Fighter pilots hit those rates and things get dangerous fast at about 9G. At 9G you start entering blackout phase, though pilots are taught to control their breathing (it sounds really funny) with grunts and they can handle up around 11G before they blackout.

Also, women can handle higher G than men can.

I don't think that's really the reason. I think it has something to do with their typical body-mass placement. You pass out 'cause the blood is forced into your legs. Womenfolk usually have shorter (and meatier) hip and legs.

We could probably actually look it up and learn why. I'm sure Google knows why. I'm just fucking lazy and I really don't care. Neither Biff or I expects to be fighter pilots.
