The band has tablets running the lyrics that you can reference don't you? I wonder, how do you get the lyrics to scroll the screen at the right timing?

Oh, we don't. The whole song or just your parts are on the page. They get changed by sound, but they don't scroll the lyrics. We could, the software allows that, but we'd have to spend many hours configuring it. Some of the band members have configured that and use large text, but most of us just have them there as reminders. We tend to know the lyrics quite well at this point, unless we're doing something new. We've been together for years now.

Ok. I just assumed when you mentioned the tablets with lyrics in the past that they were scrolling. Chris tries to make screen scroll with the lyrics but he can never get the timing right, that's why I asked, I thought maybe there was a trick to it

They can set up scrolling and set the timing to scroll it over x-amount of time, which is as refined as it gets. It's a pain in the ass and up to the performer to do themselves, so I think just the drummer and bass player do so. I think - don't quote me on that.

From sound, it's selected as the track and that sends it to the tablets. You just select it and press send.
