Hell, I'm even okay with someone being an idiot (more or less okay with it), so long as they keep putting fucking effort in. Even idiots can hold a job.

Yeah, I would not visit Opie. He may be a wonderful person, but man you're a legit fuckup if you can't stop drinking and driving - especially in an urban area. And, as you've mentioned, it's not like he's got a job.
