Oh, yeah. Nobody's getting all that hurt. These cars are insanely safe. I've actually driven a real NASCAR car, multiple times. There are tons of courses you can take that let you drive them. They're usually not all that expensive.

They're weird and don't turn in like you might expect. My very first time, my very first corner, I slid sideways into the wall. No major damage was done so I kept driving. I didn't hit anything else after that.
