thats for sure, they can get started any time
I don't see that happening any time soon. We're politically divided with a bunch of fucking morons outraged on all sides, but I doubt it's going to turn into full-blown treason or effective attempts at overthrowing the government.
You think this would be worth the price of admission?

or track day?
I would go to the first one - the cruise - and see if you like it. See if you can at least follow the racing line (you won't be racing, or even going fast), and if it's something you might like to do again.
If it is, then do a real track day. If you like that, then it's time to look into track days that allow some competition. But, your car would probably love one of those days, even if you're in the novice group. (And it's perfectly fine to be a novice - do NOT pretend to have more track experience than you do! There's no ego or shame in it.)
Finally, in both events you'll find people with neat cars and (generally) great attitudes. They'll happily help you out, answer questions, or even get your car running again if there's a mechanical issue.
