It's awesome. uMatix (same author, no longer developed - but still working) is even more awesome. However, the learning curve is huge to learn how to use it. It's basically like an old-school software firewall - but it only works on your browser and on a per-site basis.

It's fuckin' awesome.

I've contacted the uBlock Origin (Ray Hill) a few times, including submitting a bit of code that fixed something or other. I was mostly concerned with uMatrix. Hell, it was µMatrix and µBlock (no "Origin", either) at the time.

Look carefully at the names. They used to use the micron symbol, meaning 'microblock' and 'micromatrix'.
