Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Hello and welcome to another FNGT! Like normal, we'll go ahead and get you started!

This week we have something special. The song is played in a kinda duel format, where I play the first guitar and Biff then plays her part. It's an instrumental (of course) but it tells the story of a young man battling their demons until they finally come to grips with themselves and accept their fate (combining for a bitchin' solo, of course). The song should tell that story even better than lyrics could.

Why this song? Well, there's someone who will understand it and realize it was composed for them. J filled in on bass, the guitar parts were composed and played Biff and myself. (She's come a long, long ways. This shows you what diligent practice, and good instruction, can do.) It's something I've been working on for a while and I'd hoped to record it on the drum kit in Virginia, but decided to push it to an earlier release.

Rock on, Poalr Bears! Rock on!

What an amazing display of blazing fingers, from all involved. The strings must have been smokin'. And an original composition to boot.

And that cover art, beautiful.

I kinda figured you'd like it. In fact, that was pretty much the entire point. When you're done checking out the album art, check the media information. ;-)

I always do cuz I'm special!

Phew! That is a ton of notes. Love that hook. It bounced around in my head for a while after I listened to it.

Drumming sounds absolutely exhausting. Like running a bunch of wind sprints.

Glad ya liked it and I'd have rather recorded the drum on the kit i have in VA. Alas, that was not meant to be and I recorded it here. And, yeah, you'll be tired after that.

Awesome job, guys!

Thanks! Glad ya liked it. I really wanted to save it for Virginia, as the drum kit there is much nicer. Alas, we did not... We have the individual tracks saved somewhere, so I may piece it together again after I return to VA.

She's come a long, long ways. In another decade, she'll be pretty good!

LOL She says to say thanks and that it's 'a bitch' to play.

She's pretty damned good already
