Yeah, you're usually just fine with it.

I don't bitch about the next generation all that much, but man those fuckers can't use the language.

Then again, I'm pretty fucking sure the generations before me said the same damned thing I said about my generation.

But, we didn't have 'text speech' and emoticons. Also, this generation has even less of an excuse - they have spellcheck immediately to hand. It's right there! It tells you when you spelled something wrong, they just fucking ignored it.

Yeah, my sons friends will message me occasionally with emojis and slang and misspellings and half the time I don't know what they are trying to say

LOL When I send a text message, every word is spelled correctly and I use proper punctuation.

I do skimp on punctuation, especially the period at the end of the message, cause it's obvious the sentence ended LoL
