That literally hasn't worked since wars were 2000 people on a battlefield. Even then, it was usually down to who was numerous.

How well did brains (and billions of dollars and expensive gear) do in Afghanistan, Vietnam, Somalia, etc?

The only reason we ended up winning the American Revolutionary War was logistics - the UK couldn't keep fighting the war due to expenses and their empire spread too thin. It wasn't any particular battle. And, by all accounts, the UK had a ton of more smart people on their side than the paltry numbers the US had on their side.

If smarts won wars, the smart people probably would have already tried that. LOL

One could say the brains and cunning worked out all right for the Afghans or the Viet Cong. Though it was really not much to do with that

We could, except the measure of intelligence is IQ and they score lower on the IQ tests (even adjusting for western knowledge) than Americans do.

I'm telling ya, we're stuck with stupid people unless we go back to hunter-gatherers and refuse to help form a civilization.

Even if we could somehow magic our way to just smart people, there's a generation coming right behind 'em, 'cause we humans love to breed. We're some breeding motherfuckers, not entirely unlike cockroaches.
