it ridiculous. Here, you can not buy alcohol to bring home after midnight until 8AM, but you can drink in taverns till 2:00 and and they can open at 6AM. Just cant take it home with you. Between 2 and 6 you're out of luck if you need to purchase alcohol. Well unless it's Friday or Saturday, then the bars can stay open until 2:30AM. LoL And of course New Years the bars get to to stay open all day they only have to close on hour during the 24 hours of Jan 1st. LoL It's so much nonsense
During the regular week, I think alcohol sale end at 01:00 and pick back up at 06:00. NYE they can serve until 03:00.
It is really un-equal treatment for the sellers of alcohol, cause most other products can be sold at any time
Oh, Maine has it pretty great. There are some places where you can't buy alcohol at all. Then, you have states like Pennsylvania. There, you can only buy alcohol at a state store (and that includes beer), but you can buy beer to takeout from a bar.
Yeah, there are entire dry counties.
