Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

It's worth the cost to try the repair before starting to save for another car.

Though you might try listening while turning it over manually. Wait, can you even turn it over manually without a timing belt? I don't think so, so ignore my stoned ass.

Yeah, I'd give the $120 an option before deciding on the Jag's fate. I'd definitely try that first.

I suppose. I still think its probably a waste of time. Its an interference engine you know

It is - but it didn't spin up. The important metal bits inside my well have not smashed into each other, at least not with any force.

I'd (personally) consider it a wise investment to test it with replacing the timing chain. Worst case, you're out $120. Best case, you're not out the cost of a new engine/car.

Yeah, maybe I can get lucky
