Haven't gotten that far yet. It's cheaper just to get it wrapped these days. It's not terribly hard and my guys know how it's done but have not much experience. I could send it out for a wrap, as low as 2k maybe - I might have to stick some logos on the car, but it won't cost me much.
I might get it desert camo and turn it into a USMC recruiting tool. (Make it look like a Marine Corps recruiting ad.)
Maybe Gulf? Martini maybe?
I'm not really gonna take it to those places and do those rallies. I would take it to local rallycross and autocross events.
I would let your guys do it. I don't know what a wrap cost without the installation costs but I have to imagine most of the price is the installation. Hell, if they fuck it up, they can just peel it off!
See, I'm pretty sure they can wrap it in one color well enough. Even if it's not perfect, it's a race car. It can't even legally go on the street.
So, I don't give a shit if it's not perfect.
We could then do vinyl stickers on top of it.
I doubt they'd get even the Gulf livery right the first time. But, they wrap at the rally school. So, I can get cheap wraps. We didn't even pay for the wrap on Biff's rallycross car.
Hell yeah, they will get better with experience. I am sure there are a few tricks of the trade you only get proficient at with hands on experience like a lot of tasks.
