The '55 300SL looks like it would fit perfectly in your collection
I'm pretty sure I already own one. In fact, I'm pretty sure I drove it - but only from Farmington (storage) to home (back into storage).
I think?
I am not actually 100% sure.
At the right price, I'll happily own two of 'em. The gullwings were kinda in a slump - at least not gaining in value as rapidly as they once were. That's a good thing for a buyer.
The gullwings are still ridiculously expensive, even with the slump
Yup. I expect 'em to increase in value. They never decreased in value, they just stopped gaining value as rapidly as before, Well, with inflation they may have technically decreased in value but very insignificantly.
The cars in the Fux collection are awesome. They always are. Micheal Fux has some brilliant taste in cars - and some serious pull with the automobile makers. He manages to get them customized in ways they're not normally customized, including custom paint from the factory. This year's selection isn't that big, but they are special.
