Hmm... They probably want an in-state dealer license? Otherwise, I'd happily say that you were buying it as my agent. I'd then insert a sale between the two - meaning you bought it and I then immediately sold it to you at the same cost, meaning no taxes for me. One of my employees, eventually both, is a fully licensed dealer in the State of Maine. I employ them and so I'm the dealer on paperwork. That's how we now get the dealer plates.
I avoid taxes where possible. I doubt there'd be anything illegal about it, except they likely want one from in-state.
Is it like that for all auctions, or just the police, impound, and bank auctions?
I am not sure about in state licensure being required. But probably.
Look at how shitty my phones camera is. Here is of the painting that was done to that guitar I been building for years now LoL That looks like the worst picture possible but in reality that is the best one I could get on my stupid phone.
Either the phone could use a better camera or your painting just looks like badly smeared paint. (Keep in mind that I'm partially colorblind.)
Speaking of pictures...
Did you ever get a pic of you in the BDE shirt?
No not yet. I have not worn it yet. I will soon. I should get that autographed one in a frame and hung up in the studio today actually! I'll send you a picture of that when I'm done! One of these day's I am going to have to wear that Best Day Ever shirt though! I was thinking of going to an open jam at a bar and wearing it there and getting a picture of that for you
