I recently upgraded from a $300 electric guitar, to a music man sterling cutlass ct50 ($750ish). i was astounded by the difference, the new guitar feels amazing and is just way better in every conceivable way.

i'm setting some money aside for an acoustic, and i'm wondering where the sweet spot is in terms of price. how much should i spend to get as much bang for my buck as i got with my electric guitar?

Spot on like mexican squiers are way better then us and canadian squiers. Even high dollar machine cut strats can be dog shit out the box. Poor setup poor pride in production. A man once told me a cnc guitar is a cnc guitar no matter the value. My next thing to learn is refretting. I have a fairly straight neck and fill if i put new frets 2 sizes up the quality of my neck would be srv good. Easy to do with a straight edge and one of the 9.5" radous sanding bl9cks right?
