Back home, I'd not be alarmed to hear gunfire. That's not all that unusual.

Down here? Down here I'm likely to turn off an lights near windows and put a wall between me and outside. I do have a couple of firearms down here, but they are in the safe. I'd like to keep 'em there, though I did take them both to the range a few weeks ago. They had pretty good range fees, so that was nice. I'm not that fond of shooting indoors, but it is what it is and I try to get some practice in once a month or so. I like to keep my skills reasonably sharp.

21 for 21 in post-season FG attempts. The 49ers have all sorts of records like that.

And, yeah... That's one to write home about. That's the kinda hit that breaks bones, but they're some giant fuckers that are very, very fit. A hit like that would pretty much kill you or I! They get up and walk it off. Football players are insanely fit these days.

You should probably stay inside with at least two walls between you and where the shooting noises came from. One wall isn't enough, but two will slow it down enough to make it something you'll live through. You'd be unlikely to die at that point, especially if it's a pistol. If it's a high caliber rifle, well... I have firearms that will go through your house, through the next one, and maybe go through another one. They'll go through concrete blocks.

I have a lovely Barrett 82A1, for example. You can look it up if you're unfamiliar with it. Save me some typing time! It's expensive to shoot, but it's so much fun. Each round is like $3 or more, depending on where and when you buy them. Some of them are like $5 a round.
