There's a ski event where they go down a giant fucking mountain as fast as they can while staying in a course. Those fuckers hit as high as 90 mph, high 80s on this particular hill.

The dude currently in 2nd is 41 years old...

I can only imagine how he feels climbing out of bed. Man, it's rough for me to climb out of bed and I haven't been nearly as rough on my body.

His top speed was 88 mph...

No, no slalom in this event. There are flags and you have to stay between them, but they just show the edges of the course. You don't slalom back and forth between them.

And, it's batshit crazy.

We have people who do it at one of the nearest slopes, only they dress differently including wearing long helmets to get better aerodynamics.

They're kinda like the helmets some bike riders wear... Lemme see if I can find one...

I think they call it speed skiing, and I don't think it's in the Olympics.
