Hello and welcome to another FNGT. We're back home on Poal and, well, I think it's time we stop calling ourselves guests. I mean, yeah... I've been here since day one, technically before day one - as memmory serves.
We did have a guitar thread last week. It was held on talk.lol and was pretty dead. It was tempting to skip it, but this way we can continue to say that we have held the thread continuously for however long we've been at this. We're what, in our forth year? Damn, that's a long time. It's an exceptionally long time for an online event.
I don't have anything new, but I do have something awesome. I don't think it has been shared all that much, at least not lately. So, turn the volume knob all the way off and then tear the knob off your speaker, 'cause it's time for:
We may have some new stuff shortly. We've lacked motivation to record - but that doesn't mean we've lacked motivation to learn and to practice. We've barely done anything for a while, with maybe just our Christmas track being the only new track released in quite some time. Hmm... Coincidental? I don't know, but it'd be since about the time COF passed. So, yeah... It's time for us to do something new and we will, just not today.
Rock on, Bears. Rock on!
Was that you? If it was damn sure couldnt tell differences sounded great nice clean tones
That's my wife, a bandmate that lives in my house, and I cover the lead and the percussion.
Thanks! Our goal is to sound as close as possible to the original. It ain't easy, but it's great when you nail it.
The wife is still fairly new to the guitar, but she diligently practices a couple of hours a day and has since she picked it up. She's had, if I may so so myself, some of the best teaching she could possibly get. I'm a classical guitarist by training.
well kick ass job the the practice payed off sound exactly as metallica kick ass
All I've felt, all I've known, you all rock!
I should go back and do the vocal track for that song. I can belt that one out quite well.
Man... That's something I've been slacking on, I've done almost no vocal practice in months. Being down here makes me lazy. But, I've done no serious vocal practice for a while.
