Yeah. When I was young, it was every four years - for both - both in the same year.

Then they went to alternating them so that there were games every two years, but every four years between the same games.

That's still the case, but they postponed the summer games (in Japan this time around) due to Covid.

I think we used to take 'em more serious than we do now. I suspect a larger percentage of the population paid attention to 'em when we were younger. There was also that whole patriotism thing during the Cold War.

Yeah and there was only like three channels of TV to choose from then too
