Only if they catch you! People get away from the cops in more than 35% of cases. Those people are not trained drivers and are driving much slower vehicles that handle much worse. If they aren't close enough to have your plate, you just gotta disappear quickly and then completely deny everything. When they do finally catch you in the other part of town.

LoL You can out run the cruiser but not their communications.

Though I have lost a cop a couple of times over the years. They never found me either, not even on the other side of town. It was more cunning on my part than running though

LOL I have dusted the cops more often than I should have. I have a 100% success rate - but I haven't done so in years. Well, I've had them coming the other direction and just hammered on it and pulled off on a side road as soon as I can after they're out of sight. I figure in that case I'm not eluding, I just didn't see the police lights behind me in my lane as their video will also confirm.

It was much easier when I was younger. Just do enough to get out of sight and climb into the passenger seat so that you can claim you weren't driving.

By the time they have a chopper in the air, I'll be pulled off in some housing development, sitting on the curb, and smoking a cigar. Then, I'll just keep denying it. "Nope. Nope. No, sir. It wasn't me. I wasn't there. It must have been someone else with a car like mine. No sir. They made thousands of 'em sir. Are you going to give me a ticket sir?"
