Yeah, her guitar practice can annoy me a bit. It'd be less annoying if I hadn't already mastered the skills decades ago. It's like listening to a toddler say the alphabet - for two hours straight.

I can deal with it, but it's so much easier if she puts on headphones.

yeah, and when you took the time to do it you were learning the nuances so you didn't mind the repetition and that was when you were way younger

She'll get it sorted soon enough. It's not easy to be consistent with them, especially at her level. She's pretty good for how long she's been playing, but there are huge gaps in her knowledge. Hell, getting regular harmonics consistently can be hard.

It really helps that she's got good gear to learn on. That matters. She's way ahead of where I'd have expected her to be - but the gaps remain.
