He's the champion of that year, so I guess so. I have a handful of dedicated loopers, some pretty fancy.
I don't mind BOSS, but I'm really a Line 6 kinda guy for loopers.
Alas, I haven't spent that much time working with them. I can safely say, "That guy plays guitar WITH A LOOPER better than I play guitar with a looper."
But...
Gimme 3 months of dedicated practice and I'll show him how to play with a fuckin' looper.
Conceptually, I understand it very well. I just haven't bothered investing the time.
Yeah, it's not that hard. You can lay down a decent sounding backing track and melt their faces with a blistering lead over it pretty easily, I don't think it would take you a month
I figure three months would make it so that it was all just muscle memory. Being a classical guitarist will help with this - because I'm familiar with so many techniques. I can mix it up a lot and make it pretty damned complex, something I don't think that guy could emulate.
