Yup... I also sopped quite a bit of it up with towels - pressing and holding them. It's still wicking (that is too a word, Mr. Spellcheck) up when you push on it but it's mostly in the 'damp' category.

My mishap will inconvenience us a day or two longer.

I can't believe it is still wet this long after the spill

It was a solid half of a beer, maybe a bit more.

So, it's damp and if you push on it it gets more damp. It's not like visually wet, just damp and then increasingly wet if you push on it and hold it down. Like, if you sat there your butt would get damp.

LoL There's usually a wet spot in my bed but it's not from beer and it dries up faster than that!
