I'm pretty sure every guitar I've looked at (for this experience) has been shitty. Well, at least 'not good by my standards'. A few look like they might be playable without a bunch of work.

I am pretty sure that those cheap guitars are all CNC machined with minimal sanding and minimal set up work done on them.

Good enough to get out the door for around a hundred bucks

That double neck SG kit that you showed me cost more than twice as much as these other cheap guitars you sent to me. And they are not assembled!

Hmm... Is $300 still in the 'cheap guitar' range? I'd say so, but I'm not sure people would agree with me.

I would think anything that sells for $500 or less not on sale would be a cheap guitar
