Indeed! They also used to be cheaper - and less well made.
Today, a $200 guitar is (as far as I know - I haven't personally tested it) at least as good as a $600 Ibanez was back in the year 2000.
I keep looking and finding absurdly cheap gear that's supposed to be playable. I'm eager to learn if it is.
You are well equipped to be the judge of the playability, that's for sure!
I dare say that I am indeed qualified to opine on the matter!
And, I'll also give an honest assessment.
I'm kinda tempted to make a YouTube channel.
Three things stop me...
- I generally have poor bandwidth.
- I have no idea how to edit video.
I'm inherently lazy.*
- I'll do text. I can type like a demon with their pants on fire and their ass is catching. I probably type 90+ words per minute when get into the groove. Video editing would take hours, even if I knew what I was doing.
I could do text and then include samples to stream...
Video editing is not really much different than audio editing on a computer
