Are you taking the racing Beemer?
Yeah, I still have technician time and I've got to use it or lose it.
We'll probably take a second car, just in case I put the Bimmer into the barriers and so that Biff can play 'follow the leader' with me.
Awesome.
It's really, really easy to go faster than your skill on that track - and parts of the track have pretty much no run-off. So, it'll be easy to chuck the car into the barriers - if you're actually pushing it.
And, well, I'm gonna push it. Otherwise, what's the fucking point? Carbon fiber can be repaired and you're locked into position so you're not gonna get hurt.
Biff says I should tell you that she just bought a Gibson Les Paul Jumbo.
I pointed out that you (almost certainly) have no fucking clue what she's on about, but she still thinks you should know.
It's a very rare (but not all that valuable) acoustic Les Paul - with a pickup and weird buttons including a 'decade' button. She got it at a good price and is steadily building her own collection.
Unfortunately, I play covers - more than anything else.
Exactly nobody played a famous song with a Gibson Les Paul Jumbo. Owning one is pointless for me.
She wants it. It's actually a guitar I don't have in my collection - but that's by choice. Their price is stable and hasn't really changed in years. So, if I want one I can get one any time I want. There's no rush and I don't really want one.
Anyhow, now you know that she spent four figures on a guitar she'll play three times before putting it in a case and never touching it again. 'Tis her money, she can spend it any way she wants.
But, now you know - per her request.
