Getting arrested for selling weed would probably disqualify him for the disability payments

Only while they're incarcerated. When they get out, they just tell social security that they're out and they have their benefits back in like two weeks. They don't have to go back through the whole process.

I kinda want to buy a Benedetto Gypsy Elite, but I'm not sure that I want to spend that much money without playing it first - or at least knowing their pedigree. It's not like buying a '57 gold top where you know what you're getting...

That looks like a sweet guitar, but that is one hell of a pricey one. Man. If they can build and sell fifty of them a year thats a million dollars, for only 50 guitars

I'd be surprised if they sell five of 'em a year - but it's not even their most expensive guitar.

I've spent that much on custom guitars and a few other costly guitars. To be frank, it's not always worth it. They aren't $17000 better than a $3000 Martin. But, they are unique and special, each with unique tones and play characteristics.
