Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link. That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

Yup... I don't actually need their money for anything. But, my injury has stopped me from doing all sorts of things that I enjoy. Hell, I can barely get in and out of my tractor - I have to be extra careful. I can't even jump down off the tailgate of my truck - I have to sit down and slide off carefully. I can't really ski or snowshoe, and even a snowmobile is rough and painful. I can't even run all that far - though I can kinda jog for quite a distance. Well, I could run or jog longer, it just hurts.

I'm not sure if I should discuss the terms. I don't think it matters.

Their current offer is 2.5 - minus medical expenses and legal fees of which I have none. They'll then continue to cover my medical expenses that pertain to my injuries. So, I'll make about 1.5 on the deal and they'll keep covering additional medical expenses.

That's not really what I wanted, but it's close enough. I don't want to pay any medical expenses, I want the 2.5 in cash on top of medical.

So, they're getting closer to what I want.

Do you have medical expenses? Or did his insurance cover those already?

They've covered it all along, now they want what they paid to go against what they'd pay out to me in cash.

I've never really paid a bill - though I did cover my drugs on my first stop at the pharmacy on the way home from the hospital. Well, someone else paid it with my debit card. That's the only bill I've paid. The next time I had drugs picked up, we gave them the insurance information and that was the end of that.

So, I technically have paid a bill. It was like $30 with the insurance I carry.

That's it... They've paid everything else. For some reason, this even has covered my sleep meds. I was prescribed them while in the hospital all broken and bruised. I'd been on them before but not for quite a while. Somehow, they have even covered those.

My drugs are pretty expensive. They're like $1500 a month, but the insurance company isn't paying that much - they've surely got deals with the manufacturers.

Oh ok, I see. They want to deduct that from the settlement. Those bastards!
