I can't imagine being unprofessional enough to learn slide while performing for paying customers. Though, outside of the studio and during performances, they really didn't practice that much with each other. Still, learn to play that shit before you force it on people paying for the experience.

They had some shitty years around that time, lasting through much of the 80s. While I have their albums/CDs, there really wasn't much great material.
