Your brother sounds more intelligent than your sister!
I could see blowing it on a home or a car, but to blow it all and have nothing to show for it, that's just dumb.
It's been snowing here all day today.
LOL It hasn't snowed in Maine for a while. We're almost certainly heading home on the 25th - but we'll officially decide on Friday. (It's cheaper to give the flight company 48 hours notice. Much cheaper.)
The front desk brought up a package for me. I got like 100 picks for just a few dollars on AliExpress. They're nylon and most are (intentionally) the thin side as compared to the typical hard picks you get.
I do like the thin picks more than the thick stiff ones myself. But I am not real picky and I do not buy picks, I haven't bought a pick since I got a pick punch 6 or 7 years ago.
The weatherman did not say anything about snow coming today, it was supposed to be in the 40's. Apparently it's not in the 40's. The rest of the week the temperature is not expected to get above 45 degrees.
I don't want to work on my car in 4o degree weather. I want it to be at least near 60 where I can be comfortable.
I was looking on ebay and I found several heads for my car for around $300 and that just might be easier than replacing the valves and having it machined, Those heads should be bolt on and go, I would think. I don't know though
I don't mind buying picks. It's easier than making them and there's a broad variety of materials they're made from. A credit card pick doesn't appeal to me and would be thicker than I prefer.
Just replacing the head would be much easier. It might even be cheaper.
