Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link. That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

Really a 2x12 should be plenty of amp for most situations

With BDE, depending on the venue, we come rolling in with full stacks. However, the ones in the back are often not even plugged into anything. They get turned on when we're both outside and have a lot of area to saturate with sound. A lot of the time, it's just for looks. We bring a pair of 'em in at my favorite venue and put them in the back - one on each side of the projector's screen. If we actually turned them on (and it's a large venue), we'd blow the windows out of the joint as soon as they closed the doors.

That makes it look professional and like you are there to blow some ear drums.

Yeah, we can do that just fine with the half stacks up front. Sometimes they'll be full stacks but only half of 'em are gonna make noise. Nobody ever notices, 'cause just the half stack is enough. If you stand in front of it, you can feel the sound. That's enough and nobody questions it.
