That's really fortuitous timing. Imagine if you'd not gone down there to look for a basket?

Yeah, I could have had a foot of water down there, or more. It is lucky I noticed it today. It could be so much worse. The majority of the basement is dry, except the corner where the water is leaking and along the wall to the sump pump, I don't have anything there anyways, so nothing else got wet except the concrete

That's a toss-up.

On one hand, that's a bad day - shitty plumbing.

On the other hand, that's a fucking awesome day - 'caught the shitty plumbing before it caused $10,000 worth of damage.

Also, I just used super glue. I put the chip back in and I'll buff out the extra glue when I get around to it. You wouldn't even notice the chip unless you have eagle eyes.

So, my day wasn't that shitty either!

But, yeah... By pure shit luck, you noticed the shitty plumbing before it reached 'fucking expensive' territory.
