Yeah I do like the thinner picks, but the price is right on the card picks, so that's what I use. I loose them all anyways.
When I was at my moms yesterday I got up from her couch and she says what's that, and there were three picks that fell out of my pocket somehow LoL
Yeah, and I am thinking of just ordering the head and new timing chains and may as well put a new water pump on and be done with it.
If you don't do the water pump while you're in there, you're a goddamned idiot. LOL
And, we'll see how long the picks last. Biff already stole a dozen of them or so.
That's what I thought. It's got to come out, and it is 20 some years old I'm sure. I just know it would fail at some point, they all do, so I may as well put a good one in and not have that to worry about.
I bet I could lose a hundred picks in a month, maybe less!
If you're doing timing, do your water pump.
If you're doing your water pump, do your timing.
Those are pretty much the law.
Also, if you do it to one side, do it to both. Meaning, if you replace the pads on the left front, replace them on the right front. If you do one tie rod end, do two. If you do one coil-over, do two.
And, if you touch the brakes, replace the pads. (Slight exception for drum brakes, where you might just be adjusting them.)
