Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I know... I have slightly better taste than that.

I'll try to think of something.

Alas, I can't fake my chord changes very easily. It's just too ingrained. If I try to slow it down, I have to really concentrate. So, I've been trying to limit myself to "learning" a new chord every couple of days.

But, yeah... I just can't fake bad chord changes. I've tried. Trust me, I've tried.

Do you really want to learn how to play worse?

Kinda but that's impossible. I want to be able to step into the mindset of a new guitarist.

I'm finding it difficult - but I have been able to (mostly) limit the content that I play. I sometimes find myself playing like I'm gonna melt faces - and then retard my efforts, dialing them back to what I hope is a beginner.

The new amp doesn't help in those regards. I flip through the various channels and find something to play for all of them. No newbie could even dream of doing something like that. I find something new to play (that sounds good) within the first note/chord struck - 'cause my ears are still pretty fucking awesome.

beginners really do not sound very good
