Even if it's on a plane to Maine right now, I'll still be in Rangeley before they are. They don't show up at my place until after noon. I'll be home before noon - even if I stop at the music shop in Farmington.
And, yeah... This is a truly taxing task for her as she's relied on digital tuning for her whole guitar experience. She's gonna be strangling cats for months - or she'll give up and learn something else. Knowing her, she won't give up and I'll have to listen to more of it. But, at least I'll barely be able to hear her - assuming she practices in the studio.
You will have a lot more room to get away from the sound soon as you get back home
Plus there's stuff on the walls to reduce the sound that radiates into the house - where there can be, mostly on the "front" section of the room.
So, it'll be less painful - and she's not doing it on stage. So, she's already leaps ahead of Bobby Weir.
It would be hilarious if at the next show you're at she gets up on stage, grabs a guitar, stomps the tube screamer and proceeds to murder a basket of cats with her slide!
