Recently bought a PC laptop and can't decide on what recording software to use. Guy at work recommended Logic but its for mac only. Don't really mind on the price but want something decent that's easy to use. I have a focusrite gen 3 2i2 that'll have to be able to work with it. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I use a Tascam DP24SD for recording then I mix in the Reaper DAW

I'm still recording mostly using analog and to mix, I use Audacity or Ardour after converted to digital files. Both open source for Linux

Cool Edit Pro 2.1

Sometimes Reaper if I'm feeling frisky

I use Studio One Pro. I've used a ton of different DAWs over the years, and Studio One was the easiest and the stock plugins it comes with are great.

Thank you for this recommendation, think I'm going to try Studio One Artist and see how it goes. Can't believe I've never heard of it or seen it before... as it's probably the best recording program there is. Thanks again
