Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

LOL That's not a B sharp - that's a C. Sheesh! Go look at a goddamned piano! ;-)

I suppose a double-sharp A might make a few people look at you funny if you said it on stage or at a recording or jam session.

Hmm... I might try fucking with Biff by telling her a B is a C flat. She has it memorized the other direction - 'no sharps between B and C or E and F' so it may puzzle her for a few minutes while she stares at the fretboard.

When Chris was here last night we were learning a song with a C sharp in it and at some point in the song it said D flat, and it confused him for a second.

Hmm... I'd say I hope weed was a factor, but there was a point in my learning where that might have confused me for a second.

I mean, I didn't always know as much as I know now.

He figured it out fairly quickly. We laughed about it. There was weed involved! I think it was more to do with all throughout the song chords he was looking at it was listed as C sharp, and in the bridge I think it was an A flat, maybe there was a key change in the bridge. His brain was thinking that's got to be a new chord in the song!
