Damn good thinking!
Rather fortuitous, really... Amusingly, at the time, I only did so because I was showing them the right way to do things. I was in full-blown teacher mode back then.
It turned out to be a damned good move, 'cause it made them eligible to get unemployment and stimulus checks. Though, I think pretty much everyone was eligible for those - unless your income was too high. Biff somehow managed to qualify which I think is kinda funny. It was based on her income, as in what she made from working. I'm still convinced someone fucked up somewhere, 'cause she surely didn't need the checks for anything.
I would say that turned out to be a great move!
That's got to be the best band in Maine!
I'd say we're the best in our niche. We're not the best band, per se... After all, we don't have any albums or any original work at all.
So, we're the best high-end/high-production cover band in Maine! Shit, we might even be the best in New England! We are pretty damned good at what we do.
We're definitely not the best garage band, 'cause we're not a garage band. We're not the best orchestral band, 'cause we're not an orchestra. Same goes for things like folk, gospel, and bluegrass.
We probably could be the best in some of those fields, but we are not.
I'm hard pressed to say we're the best band in Maine. But, we're absolutely the best at what we do.
