I'd agree, for the reference point.
I mean, our show isn't as good as a marching band! (Assuming we were compared against a marching band, or that one's preference is for marching bands.)
Hmm... My mother would have preferred a marching band, now that I think of it. She'd have still liked my band and been proud of me, but she'd definitely not prefer our music and she'd definitely prefer a marching band, an orchestra, or the likes...
But, I'm biased. So, I think we're the best show you're gonna get.
The band has picked up a bunch of new material that I have to learn. That's something to look forward to, I suppose.
That gives you something to work on!
I don't actually know what I'm supposed to be learning yet. I know a few of the songs - well, I wrote a few of them down. Some of them I've never heard of. They're supposed to get me the tab - and they have the tab - but they've yet to deliver said tab.
I'm not too worried. I'm pretty sure I can learn anything they want me to learn. I'm pretty sure I can learn all of it in a week, even... But, I'll probably go a bit slower than that. I might as well master 'em to the point where I can play 'em while shitfaced.
I would think you could learn them in a day, depending on the song. I can't imagine they would be too difficult for you to play, being that they are most likely popular radio songs.
