That's cool, at least they are getting gigs and playing

They've pretty much been the house band for the same venue this entire time. Usually performing there every other week. It's pretty lucrative, all things considered.

A ton of venues did not survive the pandemic. Or at least came out the other end something other than what they were when they went in.

So, not only having steady work - but work that lets you put a few bucks aside for rainy days - is a wonderful thing indeed.

Shit, they're doing just fine and only have to play every other week if they want. They could probably get away with fewer shows, but then they'd have a smaller nest egg.
