It pretty much is.

I mean, I suppose safety would be our biggest priority, but we're pretty safe. We kinda have to be. We're shunting around a whole lot of electrons, deadly electrons even. We deal with a bunch of heavy stuff, as well.

Safety is more the venue's responsibility, I would think

I think it's everyone's responsibility, even the audience's responsibility.

The audience doesn't do too much for their safety, really. For example, they should be further away or wear hearing protection. But no... No, they'll get drunk and stand 6" away from a stack.

I have been known to do that myself in the past when I was drunk!!
