Well, maybe he inspired them by being a bad musician?
I've done some studio work that later ended up on major labels - and had a major label contract (that turned into nothing) in the 70s.
LOL I've been on a lot of CDs that were decidedly not major labels.
Yeah but you belong on the CDs.
By the way, I'm hovering around 10 cigarettes a day. My best day was just six cigarettes.
I pretty much smoke when I feel like it still, figuring I'll make an actual attempt to cut down shortly.
Good luck with that!
I suppose so...
I don't think I've ever been thanked on an album jacket. I get listed down with the credits, except in a few cases where I was a legit member of the band and not a studio provided gun for hire. As for my studio work, I always opted to get paid a straight fee and not rely on royalties. So, I'm not really 100% sure how far some of the music went. Ah well... I am okay not knowing.
I should probably have been thanked a few times... Again, ah well... Like, I provided a couple of riffs to a band known as Flotsam and Jetsam. I don't even know if they still exist. They were never really all that popular here in the US - but they were popular (in the US) among the skateboarding crowd. Fuck, that'd have been a long time ago...
Also, it was low 80s here today.
