They're the same car. Some body panels are a little different and I don't know if the Jag came with the V12 - which was two V6's smashed together. (Nothing wrong with that. They were great engines.)
But, yeah... It's pretty much a Jag with different lights and grill. The interior is the same, just with different logos. Jag also used wood (I think) where the GT version used carbon fiber.
Yeah, it's real carbon fiber - in 2003...
Needless to say, it was very pricey to by new. 28k is a bit of a steal, but mostly because of the miles and condition. The specific one I have is 435 horsepower - again, in 2003 - is exceptionally rare. They sell for $80k in other markets. There aren't enough in America to really have much of a market but I'd be comfortable suggesting the car's closer to the 100k mark than not. In a decade, it'll definitely be worth that.
