There are lots of guys who would love that car, I just don't know how many have that kind of money to spend on a second car
They're out there - especially in and around a tourist town. These are the kinds of people who have disposable income - or at least plenty of credit. Then, there are the locals who own the businesses that do very well during tourist season.
I'll be sure to drive it through all the touristy areas slowly. I'll make it a point to fuel up a couple of times during the week, to stop by the boat landing, and to hit things like the tourist traps in the area - like scenic lookouts, parks, and beaches. I'll get it out there and in the public eye. Someone'll both want it and have the funds available to buy it.
I'm not asking a lot more than a well-done pickup truck costs these days.
Yeah if you market it right, like you have a plan to do, there should be someone with the bank to make the purchase
Yeah, it's not like I'm selling an $800k Saleen or anything.
90k is quite reasonable, and a number of the tourists will have spent that much on their truck they can't drive to tow the boat they can't dock. They might as well have a classic collectible muscle car they can't drive to brag about to their friends back home.
Hell, if they're lucky, I'll spend an hour teaching 'em how to really drive it.
