Not yet. Depending on backlash and how much money they make, they'll expand the program into other markets.

That's just pure greed.

It's not abnormal these days. You have the same hardware, but different versions of Tesla depending on what you pay and pay in monthly subscriptions. They charge you for satellite radio. They charge you for OnStar - which was probably the first. The hardware is in every vehicle they made, but it only works if you pay them.

Then, if you go back, sometimes the hardware would be there - complete with the wiring harness have terminals where the switches would be - except the switch wasn't there - it was just a blank switch plate.

So, sure, it's greed - but it's not without precedent.

They are not going to bill me! I do not like bills. Monthly bills are something I try to limit to as little as possible.
